On Aug 11th, I went to Target to purchase 15 chairs for an upcoming event held at my house. A friendly Target employee introduced me to the Red Reloadable card ( managed by Incomm) saying that there is a promotion going on that if I open an account, I will get a $50 promotion coupon to spend.

Since I had to make the purchase anyway, I was very happy that I could make my purchase through Red Reloadable so I could have an extra 50 dollars to spend. Well, the idea is great but reality it didn't go that easy. First I put $300 into the Reloadable (max amount allowed) and then I put another $50.00 in the reloadable. The $ 300 was gone.

It wasn't funded. My account showed only $50.00. After a tedious dispute process, and waiting of more than two weeks the 300 was eventually funded back into my account, but I was out of the country by then. The red Reloadable policy (Incomm) is that the purchase must be made within 45 days after the account is open.

I missed the deadline all because they messed up with my funding. I would have made the purchase if Incomm had had properly funded my account as it stated that money is immediately available. I called customer service and was told that the promotion would be deposited into my account in a couple of days. I didn't see it.

I called again and was told to wait for another couple of days. Then I got to talk to Alexa, "the highest level Red Reloadable representative I could reach through the phone" who denied my $50 promotion because "you disqualified yourself by missing making the purchase within 45 day" This is how Incomm conducts their business. First Incomm messed up with the funding not only having caused great inconveniences to me ( i need 15 chairs to hold the event) but also having caused me not being able to satisfy the timely purchase requirement for insufficient funds in my account and now they have the customer bear the consequences of their incompetence. I asked the "highest level" Alexia that I would like to speak with her supervisor.

She refused to provide me with the information. So far this is what has happened to me when I opened a RED Reloadable account with Target who partners with Incomm. I am very disappointed with Target too. They allow this bad company ruin their reputations.

Incomm is a unfair and unprofessional market place. Stay away from them.
